Dansk Retursystem A/S (DRS) is seeking input from the market prior to a tender for IT outsourcing of a fully managed and monitored secure Infrastructure service with options for SLAs. An indicative prior information notice to that effect has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
The current IT assessment
It has been identified that for IT outsourcing services, a fully managed and monitored secure Infrastructure service (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) with options for SLAs most likely would result in the following positive outcomes; Operating reliability through SLA’s, no upfront investments, payment after consumption, sizes by baseline capacity, flexible settlement, 24/7 monitoring, possibility of self – service / automation and opportunity for DRS IT to focus more on strategic tasks rather than operations. Today DRS has a co-located datacenter, which support business units throughout the country (called ‘east’ and ‘west’). IT operations are supported by a service desk and single point of contact, which is expected to continue. The service desk is ITIL aligned service with incident, problem and change management.
Purpose of the market dialogue
To be able to secure a valid procurement strategy to our future investments DRS wants to obtain input from the market as required, including to hold presentation meetings with suppliers who in their response to the RFI guidelines have shown insight and interest in the relevant products requested and tender process.

To participate in the market dialogue, it is essential for the participants to read the RFI guidelines and provide answers for the questions in the RFI guidelines. The RFI guidelines provide, amongst other things, background information and an agenda for the questions, which will be asked at the meetings. Deadlines and date of meeting
DRS plans to obtain input from the market over a period of around one month. DRS plans to devote 2-3 hours to the meeting, which is expected to be conducted in Danish however material would be expected in Danish or English.
Meetings will be held in week 35 at DRS’ location in Hedehusene.
Suppliers who wish to participate in dialogue meetings with DRS must notify DRS thereof and send their response by email to: email@example.com on or before August 30, 2017 at 12.00 noon.
DRS will get back to the supplier with proposals for dates and time for the meeting as soon as possible after the deadline for receiving the supplier’s RFI response/notice of response.
